"Johannesburg - A 35-year-old man driving at 246km/h was arrested in Ennerdale, south of Johannesburg, on Sunday, Ekurhuleni metro police said.
Spokesperson Inspector Jimmy Maboko said the man, driving a Mercedez-Benz was arrested on the N3 near Ennerdale around 4am.
"His reason for speeding was that he was in hurry to go home," said Maboko.
The man would appear in the Germiston Magistrate's Court on Monday on charges of reckless and negligent driving." Courtesy of News24
